FIELD: packing facilities. SUBSTANCE: machine for placing jars in container has conveyor and jar handling mechanism. Conveyor has moving belts forming chutes for jars and furnished with adjustable guides. Width of chutes is adjusted to type of jars to be transported. Jar handling mechanism has movable table mounted on frame to receive jars delivered by conveyor, roller table to deliver packing containers, jar gripping mechanism and jar stop mechanism with thrusts installed on adjustable strip.
