FIELD: mechanical engineering; winches. SUBSTANCE: safety device has piston fitted on end of rod pointed to cable check turn, and additional permanent magnet. Main magnet is stationary fixed on piston at side pointed to cable check turn, and additional magnet is installed on opposite side of piston. Contact group is made, for instance, in form of sealed reed relay whose contact element is fixed on base of bushing for engagement with additional permanent magnet.
