SUBSTANCE: windmill has crossarms mounted on shaft for longitudinal displacement, blades hinged on crossarms, shaft whose upper journal has helical spiral accommodating spindle fixed in upper crossarm; blade folding members are made in the form of gearing built up of gears on blade ends and toothed racks on shaft; lower crossarm is loaded with compression spring and shaft is hinged on base for turning in vertical plane.
