FIELD: geodesy. SUBSTANCE: strip consists of four separable semi-transparent sight targets (marks) put on red side of two-side strip within 900, 1400, 3400 and 3900 mm from its heel. Thanks to transparency of central part of sight target of each mark the latter can be easily removed and mounted according to line-index marked on strip in advance by means of stop and pair of adjustment screws anchored on bracket. Dimensions and shape of bracket installed stationary on strip are so selected that they do not hinder use of red side of strip while conducting geometric levelling after removal of marks. Presence of separable marks and round level makes it possible to increase precision of measurements and to expand substantially functional capabilities of strip by use of proper methods and techniques.
