FIELD: geodetic measurements. SUBSTANCE: according to process of trigonometric leveling elevation is determined by measurement of horizontal angles by marks arranged at fixed distance with reference to each other and by measurement of vertical angles by marks located at fixed height. Structure for realization of process presents horizontal rod of strict length at which ends rods with scales traveling one upwards and another downwards are positioned. Use of structure for conducting geodetic operations makes it feasible to raise accuracy of determination of elevation by 1.5-2.0 times. EFFECT: raised accuracy of determination of elevation. 1 cl, 3 dwg
