FIELD: digital timepiece mechanisms. SUBSTANCE: converter has a housing, on which a magnetic guide with pole tips is arranged. Toothed discs of a rotor are mounted with turning one relative to another by a quarter of a revolution of a shaft, whose trunnions are mounted in struts. The toothed discs are mounted on opposite ends of a magnetically conductive sleeve; to their other ends mutually opposite magnetized magnets are adjoined. Two quarters of a lateral surface of the rotor are painted by black color, two other quarters of its surface - by white color.
