SUBSTANCE: stepping motor has magnetic core, stator with axially shifted poles, circular control winding mounted between butt ends of magnetic core poles, permanent magnets disposed between butt ends of magnetic core poles and rotor-position locking plates, and passive salient-pole rotor; magnetic core poles are installed in parallel to each other; rotor poles are shifted relative to each other in axial and diametric directions; rotor-locking commutating poles with angular length equal to quarter of rotor revolution are provided at ends of rotor poles and occupy in axial direction one fourth to two thirds of axial size of two-teeth locking plates.
