ROLLER-TYPE SHEET-BENDING MACHINE Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: plastic working. SUBSTANCE: roller-type sheet-bending machine has hard roller- holder 1 and moulding roller made in the form of kernel 2 with elastic coating 3 of permanent thickness with a hollow taking place along generatrix of the kernel. The moulding roller is driven to turn and the hollow comes out from roller-holder. Workpiece 4 is fed between the rollers. Turning is stopped and finished piece is removed upon turning the moulding roller by one complete revolution, in other words when the hollow is again under the roller- holder. The machine is intended for bending tube like pieces of sheet like workpieces. EFFECT: increased life of the elastic coating and broadened working capacity of the machine. 3 dwg
