FIELD: textile industry. SUBSTANCE: machine comprises knitting needles and a mechanism designed for turning thread guides the needles being located in a needle-case for a hinged joint with thread guides and the mechanism interacting with wedges 9 of lock carriage 5 and containing electromagnetic unit 10, pusher 11, mobile latch 12 and arresting device 13. The pusher can transfer across needles 3 with its one end being hinged to thread guide 4. Latch 12 is hinged to the other end of pusher 11 so as to locate the latter in two positions. Device 13 provides for limiting the position of latch 12 which interacts with lock carriage 5 having hoisting wedges capable of interacting with thread-guide heels given a stepped configuration at their cross section.
