FIELD: domestic appliances. SUBSTANCE: washing machine has two parallelepiped-shaped open tanks placed one inside other. Inner tank bottom of smaller height is perforated. This tank is connected to electric motor through connecting rod and crankshaft passed via sealed bore at bottom of outer tank and can reciprocate. Inner surface of outer tank has sealing band and its bottom mounts drain pipe union with electomagnetic valve and check valve. Sealing band has through ports whose both ends are joined with check valves by means of special switch which function to pass detergent in opposite directions. EFFECT: improved design. 4 cl, 2 dwg
