FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: engine has a housing constructed as two sleeves 10,12 of different diameters. The sleeves are arranged one within the other. Torus 14 is mounted on internal sleeve 12. The engine is provided with frame 1 having bearings. Shafts 3 with working members 4 are set in the bearings. Drums 5,6 having the revers mechanisms are mounted on the shafts through clutches 9. Outer sleeve 10 is connected to the drums through flexible connection 7. The half of the outer sleeve is heat insulated. The second half is provided with a cooler and made of heat conducting material. The internal sleeve is in communication with the system for supplying hot gas and system for removing cooled gas. The end switch is positioned on the internal sleeve.
