FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: engine has housing 1 constructed as two branch pipes 2,3 of different diameters. Drums 6,7 set on common shaft is mounted inside the branch pipe. Cylindrical hollow regenerator 12 is coupled with the drums through flexible connection 11. Flexible hoses 21,24 are secured in each branch pipe. The ends of the hoses are secured to the regenerator. Torus 34 is mounted on the regenerator. The housing is in communication with systems 30,27 for supplying hot and cold gas and with the atmosphere. The end switch 32 is mounted inside the branch pipe of grater diameter. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 1 dwg
