OVERRUNNING CLUTCH Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: clutch has driving outer race with segment and sector grooves made in the inner surface. The driven race is constructed as a sprocket having cogs. A separator is interposed between the races . Projections of the separator are received in the sector grooves of the outer race for permitting angular movement. Four radial openings, wherein coupling cylindrical rollers are received, are provided in the separator. Four sockets for springs are made in the side of the separator. The springs are interposed between the projections of the race and projections of the separator. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 2 dwg
