FIELD: agricultural engineering. SUBSTANCE: apparatus comprises teat cups, pulsator, receiver made up of two milk-receiving chambers, main and additional ones. Axial and radial channels are provided in the rod. Main chamber accommodates lower and upper valves. Said chambers are separated from each other by a removable partition capable of vertical axial motion relative to the receiver housing. Teat cup chambers have invariant volumes. On the suction stroke, milk is drawn from udder teats and flows through pipes into said chambers and thence into the milking pail. As air enters from pulsator into interwall chambers of teat cups at atmospheric pressure and at remaining vacuum in teat cup chambers, milk continues to flow from teats because the milk discharge channel in the teat tip is squeezed by the walls of the teat pipe. EFFECT: improved design. 5 cl, 2 dwg
