FIELD: production of emulsions, suspensions in hydrodynamic cavitation field. SUBSTANCE: mixer has cylindrical housing outfitted with medium supply and discharge branch pipes. Cavitators made in form of equidistant truncated cones arranged radially are mounted in the housing. All cavitators are made at various angles of taper. Under action of incoming flow, cavitators generate non-stationary moving cavities, different in structure and value which break down into cavitation bubbles of various sizes in relatively wide range.
