FIELD: mixing and grinding technique; petrochemical and other industries. SUBSTANCE: mixer includes housing with cavitator mounted inside it. Cavitator is made in form of blades of supercavitating profile. Blades are of wedge-shaped form with sharp leading edge. Blades are provided with cover plates and are mounted on hub. Cavitator is provided with drive for lateral motion made in form of rod with helical threads on which bushes with pushers are mounted. Cover plates are in contact with inner surface of housing. Cover plates are made from flexible material and are rigidly secured on hub. Front parts of cover plates are secured on lateral sides of blades. Helical threads have opposite starts.
