FIELD: horizontal screw centrifuges designed for purification of fine-dispersed suspensions. SUBSTANCE: horizontal centrifuge has rotor 1 mounted in bearing supports 2 and shock absorbers 3 located between bearing supports 2 and frames 4. Rotor 1 is also provided with additional supports 5 and shock absorbers 6; amount of deformation of shock absorbers 3 and 6 under action of gravity force shall be more by at least 5 times than difference between maximum and minimum radial clearances in the bearings. Load for each bearing is reduced in proportion with the number of bearings which makes it possible to increase length of rotor in proportion with increase of number of bearing supports. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of separation of horizontal centrifuges. 2 dwg
