FIELD: construction. SUBSTANCE: method for erection of structure from thin-walled steel shells on soft grounds of water area consists in the following. Installed on shell 1 is standpipe 2. After installation of shell on bottom with soft ground, part of this ground 3 gets inside standpipe 2. Lower end of pipes 4 are located above lower end of shell. In course of filling the hollow with loose material, pipes are used to suck soft ground by means of pulp lifting equipment 6. When shell is filled with loose materials, pipes are withdrawn. Reactive forces arising in pipe withdrawal are transmitted through standpipe to drive shell into ground. Pipes are mounted in hollow over circumference coaxially to shell. To level shell installed with misalignment, pipes on the side of more deepened edge are withdrawn by vibration. EFFECT: improved service properties of structure due to its increased bearing capacity and levelling of misaligned shell. 3 cl, 4 dwg
