FIELD: engine engineering. SUBSTANCE: valve gear has a rocker made up as two levers with lugs which are complimentary to each other. The levers are mounted on a pin and spring-loaded from the side of faces. There is a guaranteed space between adjacent top intermediate areas of the lugs in the initial position. The space is eliminated at rotation of one of the levers of the composed rocker owing to heat deformations of the valve rod or connecting bar. EFFECT: enhanced reliability. 4 dwg, 1 tbl
