FIELD: steam generators. SUBSTANCE: prismatic water-cooled furnace has two multi-tier units of burners arranged on each side walls 3 and two central agent supply nozzles 7 mounted in center of front and rear walls 5 of furnace. Two burner units directed diametrically are brought closer to axis of symmetry of side walls 3 of furnace so that relationship of distance between them to height of burners is within 0.8-1.2 and central blast nozzles 7 made in form of vertical near-wall slots whose height is equal to burner unit are oriented relative to each other in opposite sides along the walls on which they are located; screen tubes are laid above central nozzles 7 forming slots with plane of not spread screens of slot on either side whose width is equal to width of central nozzles.
