FIELD: fuel burning technology; electric power stations. SUBSTANCE: furnace includes shield walls 1 with outlet embrasures 2 made in form of vertical chute and vertical burner unit 6 common for all nozzles. Side walls 11 and 12 of embrasure 2 are made at angle relative to each other which is equal to opening angle of jet; vertical gas-tight shields are mounted inside embrasure 2 in parallel with side walls 11 and 12. Inlet ends of these shields are located at distance exceeding width of nozzles of burners 6 and outlet ends are located at level of shielded walls 1. Lighting-up burner 20 is fitted on lower end of embrasure 2. EFFECT: stabilized ignition and burning; simplified construction. 3 dwg
