FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: preparations were prescribed on the basis of data obtained at unbalance coefficient determination (Kd). Trypsin-like activity (TLA) and antitryptic activity (ATA) were estimated in bronchoalveolar secretion, and coefficient Kd= TLA/ATA˙102 is calculated. Proteolytic enzymes were prescribed at values Kd<0, and their inhibitors - at Kd>0. EFFECT: increased effectiveness of bronchitis treatment, shortened period of treatment.
