FIELD: optical equipment. SUBSTANCE: location device has low- power light source 8, rotating single-line opticomechanical scanning unit 4 and test photodetector 1 mounted in series and optically interfaced. It also includes pickup 2 of elevation coordinates which input is linked to output of test photodetector 1 and which output is coupled to second input of comparison circuit 6. Rotating single-line opticomechanical unit 4 is also optically interfaced angle meter 3. Scanning zone of rotating single-line opticomechanical unit 4 is turned relative to directional pattern of rotating azimuth and elevation angle meter 3 through width of laser beam. Pickup 2 of elevation coordinates is manufactured in the form of delay line 12, flip-flop 13, coincidence circuit 14, counter 15, permanent storage 16 and clock generator 17 connected in series. Output of clock generator is linked to second input of coincidence circuit 14, second inputs of flip-flop 13 and counter 15 and input of delay line 12 are coupled to output of test photodetector 1. Output of permanent storage 16 is output of pickup 2 of elevation coordinates. EFFECT: reduced time for determination of range to objects. 2 dwg
