FIELD: optical detection and ranging of objects. SUBSTANCE: optical radar has optically matched laser scanner 1, two test reflectors 2,3 located at base distance from each other, laser radiation receiver 4, sweep generator 5, TV pickup 6 connected with inputs of line and frame scans to proper outputs of sweep generator 5, check selector 7, generator 8 of saw-tooth voltage with equal times of rise and decrease and TV indicator 9 connected in series, selector 10 of signals by their duration, unit 11 of measurement of time intervals, unit 12 of determination of distance and direction and supplementary TV indicator 13 connected in series, delay line 14, inverter 15 and comparison circuit 16 connected in series, the latter being linked with second input to output of TV pickup 6 and with output to input of selector 10 of signals by their duration. EFFECT: improved accuracy of unambiguous finding of direction and ranging of many objects. 2 dwg
