FIELD: liquid metal forming equipment. SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of vacuumizing metal before moving it into a die and moving the metal to the die, when the metal is in solid-liquid state. Apparatus for performing the method has a table, mounted with possibility of horizontal motion on an upper traverse beam, a heating member, arranged on a metal receiver, a sealing gasket, placed on an upper end portion of the metal receiver, a die, secured to the upper traverse beam and lined by an easy-meltable material, and a vacuum system. The die has an opening, joining its cavity with the vacuum system. The die itself is in the form of upper and lower casings, between which a diaphragm is arranged. The diaphragm has vertical holes and connection plane, passing through axis of the holes. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 4 cl, 9 dwg
