FIELD: hydraulic engineering. SUBSTANCE: earth is laid into dam body, first, to the deepest places in dam site up to attaining elevation under water at depth not exceeding two heights of calculated wave in water reservoir for period of dam construction. Employing the pioneer method, dam body is finally filled over length of entire dam site to height exceeding the normal maximum operating level. Then, dam is finally filled to the required height with continuous leading of ground filling successively in core, transition zone and toes of dam with lead determined by trials.
