METHOD OF USE OF PART OF ENERGY DISSIPATED AT MECHANICAL OSCILLATION OF APPARATUS STRUCTURE Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: power engineering. SUBSTANCE: replenishment of store of energy of the apparatus and suppression of parasitic oscillations in its structure are effected due to taking power off piezo and/or magnetostrictive elements arranged inside apparatus. Suppression of parasitic oscillations is effected on base of inverse piezo and/or magnetostrictive effect by tapping voltage off elements of parasitic mechanical oscillations acting on them in antiphase. Depending on degree of suppression of these oscillations and present situation, all elements of apparatus are divided into groups and its own threshold is set on each group. In case electric power taken off elements of group exceeds larger threshold, group is shifted to mode of suppression of oscillations and in case this power is less than lesser threshold, group is shifted to mode of replenishment of store of energy of apparatus.
