SUBSTANCE: device has digital code generators 1.1, 1.2, reverse counter 2, digital-to-analog converter 3, oscillator 4, automatic power adjustment unit 5, radio receiver 6, electronic switches 7.1, 7.2, 7.3, comparison element 8, attenuator 9, decoder 10, envelope detector 11, threshold gate 12, differentiating unit 13, sign inverter 14, rectangular pulse generator 15, binary counters 16.1, 16.2, band-pass filter 17, rectifier 18, OR gate 19, two delay gates 20.1, 20.2, memory unit 21, computing unit 22, logarithm computing unit 23, starting unit 24, extremum locating unit 25, digital frequency meter 26, recording unit 27 and tested radio transmitter 28. The goal of invention is achieved by suppression of levels of supplementary oscillations. Level of suppression is pre- given. In addition power of radio receiver is tuned in the range of relative levels of supplementary oscillations. Number of oscillations of voltage of supplementary frequency is counted during period when main frequency of transmitter is the same as receiving range of receiver. Values of the same characteristics which are proportional to levels of main and supplementary oscillations of radio transmitter are computed. Later on a logarithm of these values is computed no/ni.
