FIELD: measurement of electromagnetic fields of valid signals and noises to ensure electromagnetic compatibility of radio and electron gears. SUBSTANCE: determination of electromagnetic condition is carried out by detection of signal sources in close zone with the use of retunable band-pass filter, by measurement of levels U_σi of signals across output of measurement antenna 22 by receiver 10, by formation of coefficient of difference between measurements in close and far zones with the help of storage 5, by computation of levels U_fi of signals across output antenna 22 at any distance from radiation source needed for study by means of first and second multipliers 14 and 15 and unit 18 for extraction of square root and by recording of frequencies f_i and levels U_fi of signals across output of measurement antenna 22 in far zone with register 21.
