OIL TRAP Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: oil processing industry. SUBSTANCE: oil trap consists of housing with pyramidal bottoms, means for collecting oil from surface of liquid and filter. Filter is made of resilient filtering material positioned in end face wall of housing between parallel horizontal plates. Pressed into filter are intake pipe of concentric syphon on one side and pipe for feeding regeneration solution on the other. Ends of pipes are provided with eccentric screen cylinders. Filter is regenerated by wringing it out with its simultaneous washing when pressed-in pipes are moved along its surface. EFFECT: improved effectiveness. 3 cl, 6 dwg
