FIELD: preparation of mortar mixes. SUBSTANCE: mixer has cross-piece 5 mounted on horizontal axles 3 and 4 of vertical posts 2 for turning. Bowl with inclined walls is installed on cross-piece 5 in bearing 6 for rotation round its axle. Located in bowl 7 is mixing shaft 8 connected with output shaft 9 of reducing gear 10 driven by electric motor 11. Reducing gear 10 is installed on bracket 12 connected by means of hinge 13 with one of axles of cross-piece 5. Mixing shaft 8 is located in plane running through axles 3 and 4. Cross-piece 5 has handle 14 for its over-turning. Blade 15 adjustable in height is attached to handle 14. Bracket 12 may be spring-loaded relative to axle 4 by spring 16.
