FIELD: bricks-making industry. SUBSTANCE: drum-type furnace has mounted with capability to rotate cylindrical body with holes to feed calcined material, that are connected with ladle-type feeder, and apparatus to remove calcined material and smoke gasses. To decrease entrainment of calcined material particles inside body of drum-type furnace, there is guide, located under holes to feed calcined material and made in the form of mounted along perimeter L-shaped in section ring-type member, open part of which is directed to discharging end of furnace, or made in the form of baffles, mounted under each hole at an angle of 10 - 45 deg. to vertical plane. EFFECT: drum-type furnace is used in bricks-making industry. 3 dwg
