FIELD: aeronautical engineering. SUBSTANCE: method for determination of helicopter center of mass of the machine with coaxial main rotors consists in excitation of vibration of structure by successive application of loads in hover mode which is executed by alternating installation of disbalance loads 3 and 4 on each rotor 1 and 2. Then, using vibration transducers 6 and 7 in two points of fuselage to measure increment of vibration motions relative to those for helicopter with balanced rotors, and position of center of mass is determined by mathematical expression. EFFECT: higher confidence of determination of center of helicopter mass due to consideration of effect of installation of shafts of rotor system. 1 dwg
