FIELD: aviation material, applicable for location of the center of mass of a helicopter with the lifting rotors installed on the fuselage at a different height.
SUBSTANCE: measured in succession are the helicopter fuselage oscillation amplitudes in the hover mode without the unbalance weights, as well as with unbalance weights installed in turn on each lifting rotor, then determined is the location of the helicopter center of mass according to definite mathematical dependences.
EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of location of the helicopter center of mass, in particular, determination of the distance in vertical from the lower lifting rotor to the helicopter center of mass.
