FIELD: testing technology; particularly, corrosion testing. SUBSTANCE: corrosion testing arrangement includes test chamber 1 made in the form of cylindrical housing 2 with cover 3. The lower part of housing 2 communicates with the lower part of vessel 4 for medium 5 through channel 6. Parameters of medium 5 are checked with the aid of thermocouples 7 mounted in chamber 1 and vessel 4 and by means of pressure gauge 8 located in chamber 1. Mounted outside of housing 2 and vessel 4 in a helical manner are heaters 9 with heat insulation 10. Positioned inside chamber 1 coaxially with its cylindrical housing 2 is means for fastening samples 12 disposed on housing collar 11. The mentioned means is made in the form of support stand 13 fixed in place by bushing 14. Ties in the form of axles with nuts are mounted axially movably (for example, along thread) on stand 13. Ties are provided with pressure members to thrust radially against edges of vertical end faces of stress-strained samples 12, concave surfaces of which contact closely the heating cylindrical surface of housing 2. Relation of curvature radii of contacting surfaces of housing 2 and samples 12 in stress-free state is so selected, that the maximum value of tensile stress in samples 12, when they contact completely the surface of housing 2 is within a range of 1.1 to 1.3 of the yield strength of the sample material.
