FIELD: radio electronic industry. SUBSTANCE: in addition to known method of capacitor charge regulation involving variation of capacity to desired value continuous electric field is set up in insulation between capacitor plates and charge capacity is varied by decreasing or increasing field intensity; upon attaining desired capacity field intensity is not changed. Additional electric field is set up by making conductive part of space between capacitor plates through introduction of conducting electrode into plate-to-plate space which is connected to regular electric field source to increase or decrease potential of conducting medium; additionally built up field is electrostatic field created by connecting additional conducting electrode to d.c. current source. EFFECT: improved reliability of charge capacity regulation. 3 cl, 2 dwg
