FIELD: chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: method involves amination of macroporous chloromethylated copolymer and divinyl compound with hexamethylenetetramine in methanol medium at 35-45 C following by addition of mineralized water and exposition in this medium, treatment in methanol medium with mineral acid and carboxymethylation with sodium monochloroacetate in alkaline medium. Divinylbenzene at the ratio of meta- and para-isomers (3-2.5): 1 is used as divinyl compound, and methanolic solution of alkali (concentration is 0.6-1%) is used as medium at amination. At carboxymethylation copper salt (concentration is 0.03-0.5 mas. p.) is added additionally to sodium monochloroacetate, and carboxymethylation reaction is carried out at pH 7.2-7.5.
