RUBBER MIXTURE ON THE BASIS OF 1,4-CIS-POLYISOPRENE RUBBER Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: rubber industry. SUBSTANCE: rubber mixture components were stirred on the rolls at 75± 5 C for 25 min. Rubber mixture has, mas. p.: 1,4-cis-polyisoprene rubber 100; stearic acid 1.8-2.2; zinc oxide 4.8-5.2; sulfur 2.0-2.5; technical carbon 30-40; vulcanization accelerating agent 0.5-0.9, and modifying additive 2-6. Copolymers of propylene oxide and divinyl oxide with hydroxyl number 95-418 mg KOH per 100 g copolymer and iodine number 30-200 mg iodine per 100 g copolymer were used as a modifying additive. Mixture is vulcanized at 145 C. Properties: nominal stress at 300% elongation is 9.8-10.4 MPa; nominal stretching strength is 31.0-31.4; relative elongation is 590-620% ; fatigue endurance at multiple stretching is 67800-82900 cycles; tearing resistance is 116-121 kH; strength of join rubber-metal cord is 34.7-40.3 MPa.
