FIELD: road sweeping machinery. SUBSTANCE: refuse and litter are collected when trailing unit is lowered. Trailing unit is rigidly secured on dump truck frame by means of bracket. Refuse and litter are delivered by conveyor of trailing unit into dump truck body which is slightly lifted when trailing unit is set in operating position. With dump truck body filled up, it is lowered in horizontal position, and trailing unit is set in travelling position in which its lower point is above ground surface at a height commensurable with dump truck clearance. Body can be unloaded to side or rear. Body can be turned through angle greater than turning angle of trailing unit and can unload refuse to space between dump truck chassis and trailing unit. EFFECT: provision of self-loading and subsequent mechanized unloading. 3 cl
