FIELD: drying engineering. SUBSTANCE: device has drying chamber 1 wherein torus 2 is received. The torus has longitudinal profiles 3 on the outer side. Systems 4 and 5 for supplying gas-heat-carrier into chamber 1 (on both sides of torus 2) are positioned at both end faces of chamber 1. Systems 6 and 7 for supplying material to be dried in the drying zones, systems 8 and 9 for discharging dried material, and systems 10 and 11 for discharging steam-air mixture from the drying zone are mounted in the walls adjacent to the end faces of chamber 1. The material to be dried is fed in portions and blown with the gas-heat- carrier. The stream entrains dried particles and moves them through slots made in torus 2 between profiles 3 to the other side of torus 2. The particles are then displaced by the torus in the discharging system. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 2 cl, 1 dwg
