SUBSTANCE: system comprises charge batchers installed before lumping drums, hand-operated setters of drum feeder and sintering belt control devices, transmitters of sintering belt speed, charge levels in loading hoppers and charge layer thicknesses on the sintering belt, setters of total charge consumption per sintering machine, ratio of charge consumptions in lower and upper layers, average charge level in hoppers and total layer thickness, and changeover switch of operating modes and control complex comprising mathematical models of individual technological bays, units for computing average charge level in hoppers, design values of charge layer thicknesses, correction coefficients, units for preparation of shock-free transition to automatic mode of drum feeders and sintering belt, regulators of mean value of charge level differences in hoppers, thicknesses of lower and upper charge layers as well as elements of algebraic adding, multiplication and division of signals. The system utilizes a convenient method for setting charge consumptions and layer thicknesses.
