FIELD: mechanical engineering. SUBSTANCE: friction planet reduction gear has central wheels provided with outer ring grooves, ring projections, carrier with rollers, and flexible rings. The face surfaces of the grooves made in the central wheel are made of a self-lubricating material. The carrier consists of fixed and movable parts interconnected through flexible members which are constructed wether as springs or flat plates. Mated radii of the flexible rings and side surfaces of the flexible rings are the same. EFFECT: improved design. 3 cl, 5 dwg
