FIELD: manufacture of building materials. SUBSTANCE: travelers have rotating bowl 1 and rollers 13 pressed to the bowl bottom with the clamping mechanism. The rollers are freely mounted on the horizontal semiaxis of cross pipe 12. The cross pipe is set on vertical axis 11 for free rotation around it. The mass is crushed and worn off between the cylindrical surface of the rollers and the bowl bottom. Besides, the bowl bottom is made as a lattice formed by a long-sized plate coagulated as spiral with a space between the loops and fixed in such a state with connecting members, with redial pins for example. When the bowl is rotated the loop edges cut the processed mass and it is forced through the spaces. The same result will be obtained in case hard-mounted coaxial rings are used instead of the plate coagulated as a spiral. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of the clay mass grinding. 3 cl, 4 dwg
