FIELD: plasma cutting of metals. SUBSTANCE: the swirler 6 is made of material with a thermal expansion factor α, being higher, than the temperature expansion factor a1 of a material of the holder 4 of the electrode 2. The swirler 6 is mounted with a play δ in the cavity 5 of the holder 4 of the electrode 2. A value of the play d is selected in such a way, that upon heating over a cutting operation this play is being completely taken off, providing a tight fit due to the above mentioned temperature expansion factors difference.
