FIELD: chemistry. SUBSTANCE: this process includes such steps as neutralization of potassium hydroxide solution by thermic phosphoric acid to obtain potassium hydroxide- phosphoric acid ratio of 1:1, boiling of solution, isolation of insoluble fractions by filtration, repeated neutralization of solution to ratio of 1.6 to 1.7 between potassium hydroxide and phosphoric acid, spraying of neutralized solution, drying and calcination of resultant product using flue gases, dry and wet purification to produce sub-scrubber liquid. Disclosed process prescribes separately conducting spray drying and calcination steps, carrying out drying step at flue gas temperature of 420 to 460 C and returning sub-scrubber liquid for neutralization.
