PLUNGER MECHANISM Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

Abstract RU 2036334 C1

FIELD: robot engineering. SUBSTANCE: piston is mounted inside the housing filled with magnetic and rheological liquid to define working spaces. Openings are made in the piston to connect the working spaces. Mechanical vibration generator is secured to the rod of the piston outside of the working spaces. The source of lateral alternative magnet field is secured to the rod for permitting changing position with respect to the piston and is connected with the rod through an actuating mechanism. The source is constructed as two- section electromagnet whose sections are arranged symmetrically on both sides of the piston. EFFECT: improved design. 3 cl, 3 dwg
