FIELD: optics. SUBSTANCE: anti-glare glasses have eye-pieces made of two glass substrates provided with two vertical and horizontal transparent electrodes applied onto the substrates. There is a liquid crystal layer between the electrodes. The electrodes are connected with light-sensitive linear arrays through control units. The cylindrical lenses are mounted vertically and horizontally correspondingly in front of the linear arrays. Light from car lights is focused onto parts of light-sensitive linear arrays which turn corresponding horizontal and vertical electrodes through control units. Liquid crystal between them is darkened creating darkened spot onto pupil of the eye. EFFECT: improved efficiency. 3 cl, 6 dwg
