FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying electrocardiographic examination and rheography of extremities to analyze time and amplitude parameters of rheogram using a generally accepted schemes and additionally determine K-value of systolic blood ejection and calculate the value of W from a formula cited in the patent specification text. If W= 1.309 ± 0.07, the peripheral vessel functional state is considered to be in norm. If the value is deviated for not more than + 15%, disturbed state is diagnosed. If the deviation exceeds 15%, the state is considered to be pathologic. EFFECT: simplified method; excluded graduation of each apparatus and its standardization. 1 tbl
