FIELD: medical engineering; dental prosthetics. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying gold over a corrosion-resistive alloy by successively immersing a prosthesis under voltage of 4-5 V for 3-6 min into an electrolyte having in % by mass: trivalent gold salt 0.25, cobalt chloride 0.03, citric acid 8.0, amines 0.2, hydrochloric acid making up the rest to reach pH<1 and at voltage of 2-4 V for 30-50 min into an electrolyte having in % by mass: potassium dicyanaurate 0.5, nickel sulfamine 0.4, nitrite triacetic acid 1.7, potassium citrate 6.0, formic acid 1.2, boric acid 2.0, glitter- forming additives 0.1, the rest being filled with water. Intermediate rinse is suggested between the stages of the process. EFFECT: accelerated and simplified gold coating process, improved quality of coating layer.
