FIELD: welding. SUBSTANCE: halves of branch pipes are formed with following their welding. halves of branch pipes are formed from sheet billet as a group. Canals are formed in crosspieces between neighboring halves of branch pipes. Legs ends of halves of branch pipes are made spherical with edges tapering by value of 0.2 - 0.3 branch pipe thickness. Then pair of group billets is collected and welded along closed contour. In the case, speed of electrode motion on spherical area is 0.7 - 0.8 of speed, during which welding arc break takes place, then the group is cut by separate branch pipes.
